He's home!

I am way excited about this blog! Here is my first post of many to come!

Elder Anderson is home! Ahh, our first sighting of him! It looks like him...it really is him! Yeah! Bryce arrived home November 3rd, ~10am, after serving an honorable full time mission in San Fernando California. We went straight to the Conference Center where their Stake President works, Bryce was released as a full time missionary. It was the hardest part! We then stopped at Hires Big H for lunch before we made some stops for people to see Bryce!

Bryce loves his name spelled this way, he calls it his "slave" name! Whatever, but we had to make a sign of it!
Mom received the first hug!

Bryce couldn't believe how big Neal was! After he took us all in, he just starred at Neal and said "Who is this guy, look at these shoulders"!

We're all back together again! We love it!

The parentals have their boy back!

The girls beaming!
Even Tasha remembered Bryce! Isn't this a precious picture!

Yeah! He's home! Bryce's homecoming talk is November 14th, 2010 at 9am in the church building they attend in Pleasant Grove. Please come if you can!

Just Another Day

Well, we have had a lot of fun the last month or so. With Gordon and Christie moving back to Utah they are living with us and that has meant we have a 3 year old in the house. What a challenge and what a joy. We are enjoying having children and grandchildren around. In church on Sunday one of our neighbors told us how jealous he was that we got to have our grandchildren living with us. He had his grandchildren for 3 years and they just moved to Alabama and he is missing them. We are having fun now.

So, I've sent an invitation through blogspot to all of you and will send a separate email as well.  As I said before, Lu Ann says she can make the blog look better and that will be coming up in the future.  We can work out a few details but I would suggest that you title your post with your name and date as I did with this one so that it will be more clear who is talking.  Within the next day or two I will make a real post and update you with what my family has been up to.

Getting it finally going

Well, today I am putting email address information into the blog and all that I have addresses for should be getting an email and be made aware that they can blog.    Also I am sending you an email and between the two of them hopefully things will be clear.  I only have a few addresses for Cheryl's family.  Please let me know if they are right and if you want to send any more.

Just seeing if I remember how to use this!  I'm getting email addresses now and things should soon be up and running.

So everybody has been willing to go along with the blog idea.  I will get all your emails and everybody will be primary bloggers.  Lu Ann is going to make the blog look much cooler, she says, and if you have other ideas let me know.  We're actually at Becky's house right now.  We were flying out of Denver on the second leg of our flight home, and they said the flight was full and overbooked and wanted to know if anyone was willing to take a later flight and get their monetary compensation, so we took them up on it.  Not only do we get money out of it but we get to spend a few hours with our grandchildren before we have to go back home.  It's a win-win situation!

So here's the Hardy family blog. It's my intent that this becomes the new family letter, except we all can contribute anytime we want and you'll always have access to all the previous blogs and you can make your contribution as small or as large as you like. Anyone in the family can contributor if they want to. We all can be primary contributors and not commentors. I just need your email address.
